Tenya Tempura Tendon in Aseana Macapagal

We’ve been planning to dine here ever since they opened in Macapagal Avenue, and last Friday,  we finally did.  Our concern before was the parking since we thought they were like the Gerry’s Grill where we usually eat, which don’t have enough parking space. We were glad to know that there was a parking area at the back. It was quite dark, but the lights from the nearby hotel construction helped a lot, and there was also a roving security guard so the diners of the nearby restaurants  will still feel secure to leave their vehicles. Of course, who doesn’t love Shrimp Read More

150 Maginhawa Food Park

It was supposed to be a cousins’ day out, but the titas and titos tagged along, haha! We asked them how will they go to Maginhawa if we won’t be coming with them? Well, they were ready to commute by taking the MRT and tricycle. But then… we also wanted to go food tripping! As  usual, we relied on Earvin to find a good place for us. Then  we remembered the cluster of restaurants that we saw the last time that we were there which  we promised to go back to. So that’s where we went. The place had its Read More

A Short Family Road Trip to Canyon Cove

Whenever my family wants to have a short break, the first place that comes to my mind is the Canyon Cove Resort in Nasugbu, Batangas because it’s just a few hours drive from our place.  So, when Egay said we should go someplace nearby  before all our kids go back to school after the Christmas holidays, I suggested that we go for an overnight stay at Canyon Cove.  I especially love the sceneries going to the resort. The Nasugbu-Ternate winding road with awesome view, and the irresistible photo opportunities area overlooking the sea and breathtaking mountains are enough reason for Read More

Our Bohol Family Trip

Going on a big group travel is fun, but encountering some problems along the way is part of it, which will turn into good memories to look back on and stories to tell during family gatherings. Our Bohol trip last 27 December started off on the wrong foot. We were late and were almost off loaded from our flight because we had difficulty finding an overnight parking slot. The  parking building was closed off because it was fully booked caused by the delayed and cancelled flights during the weekend’s typhoon. We had to turn back and go to the open Read More

Red Hana in Maginhawa Street

This is a very late post, but since my objective in reviving my blog is to document my family life, I decided to still blog about our family lunch at Red Hana in Maginhawa Street. During the summer vacation, Earvin had a part time job as a Medical Technologist in a laboratory near our place. One Sunday, he said he will treat us for lunch, so, we went to Maginhawa Street in Quezon City, to look for a place with good food at reasonable price. Of course, when it comes to the restaurants in Maginhawa, he’s the expert in the Read More
