I know this is kind of a belated greeting, but I still want to greet you a very Happy New Year! I hope and pray that 2012 will be a fruitful year for all of us.
I’m not the kind of person who starts off the new year with resolutions, and I don’t have anything against those people who do, in fact, I sometimes hope that I had developed this habit over the past years. If I were to list down my new goals for this year, first thing on my list would be to try to create more bonding moments with my family, because it would be a more challenging task now that my husband is on frequent business trips. He’ll be away for most of the year, so we have to be more creative in making the most of the time that we are all together.
This year also marks some milestones in my family: my youngest daughter Faye’s grade school graduation in March, my 20th Wedding Anniversary in May, my daughter Izah’s 18th birthday and my husband’s 50th birthday both in December. This will surely be a very busy year for me. We haven’t finalized yet on the kind of celebration that Izah wants to have for her debut, and I’m dreading all the preparations needed if she decides to have a full-blown party. Oh, and that’s also the time (September to December) when my online business is in full-swing and I have tons of orders for personalized notepads. Oh-oh! Well, I’m sure I will survive, LOL!
So, here’s hoping that you all have a bountiful and prosperous New Year! I hope that you’ll accomplish all your goals and plans for the year!
