My daughter, Izah, just had her UPCAT (University of the Philippines College Admission Test) this morning. It was not so stressful as when we had it two years ago for my son, because this time, since Izah’s school is located outside of Metro Manila, the UPCAT testing center was just within the vicinity of our place, and yesterday, we did an ocular inspection of the place just so we wouldn’t have any difficulty finding it on the day of the exam. We felt the huge difference of not braving the heavy traffic going to UP Diliman, and this time we only had to leave the house at around 5:30am, unlike before when we had to leave at 4:00am, just to make it in time for the 6:30am schedule of the examination. Although of course, it would have been a much better experience for her if the exam was done in UP Diliman campus itself.
