Last Sunday, we planned on eating at Conti’s in Paranaque after hearing the Mass in St. Jerome Parish in Alabang. We then decided to have a stroll in Alabang Town Center in order to kill time because it was still too early for us to have dinner. We ended up staying there and we just looked for a nice place to have dinner. We don’t really go to ATC regularly so we were surprised to find lots of restaurants there, and I was even more surprised when I saw Amici, well, I wasn’t really that good in finding good restaurants for dining out, and if you’ll ask me where is the best place to eat, I’ll give you a blank expression. As for Amici, I just knew it’s a nice place because I’ve already tried it several times in SM Megamall with my office mates. So, we let go of Conti’s and decided to just eat in Amici, anyway, I wasn’t sure if the kids will enjoy the food in Conti’s, at least in Amici, it was safe to assume that the kids will love it, because which kid does not love pasta and pizza?
Of course, each kid has a favorite. Faye just loves lasagna, Izah really, really loves pasta with white sauce, so, it’s carbonara for her! And Earvin, well, anything goes for him actually. So, we ordered Lasagna, Carbonara, Pomodoro, Capricciosa and Frutti di Mare. The whole family loved it!
After eating, we went for a walk and we chanced upon the demo of HD 3D from Sony in the lobby of the mall. We tried it and it was simply amazing. Imagine watching 3D movies in the comforts of your own homes. We asked how much it would cost and we were told that since it’s yet to be released here in the Philippines — November 2010, they still don’t have a price for it yet, but I can just imagine that it’s really going to be very expensive.
After this 3D experience, we stayed a little bit more, then we decided to go home since there was school the next day. But just before that, we were surprised to see a signage that there’s also a Conti’s bakeshop in ATC. It was small with just a few tables and chairs for dine in, and it was really intended for take-outs. We vowed to try it next time.
An absolutely nice and simple bonding experience that’s again one for the memory banks of the kids.
