We seldom watch movie as a family, but last Sunday was an exception. We didn’t really prepare anything special to celebrate Father’s Day, I just cooked Tuna Spaghetti and we just planned to stay home and watch DVD, but then, at the last minute, we decided to call up the nearest SM Mall in our place to ask if there’s still Karate Kid showing in one of their cinemas, and we were lucky, at least we didn’t have to go to other Malls to watch the movie.
We wanted to bring Papa, but he had already seen this movie during its first week of showing, thanks to the free movie passes for Senior Citizens in our place. Faye was even hesitant to join because she said she didn’t like Karate Kid and she might just fall asleep while watching it. She preferred Toy Story of course. But then, 4 against 1, we won. So, when we saw that she really enjoyed the movie, I couldn’t stop teasing her, “I thought you were just going to sleep?”
We all enjoyed the movie, though I cringed and closed my eyes while watching the Kung Fu tournament, I guess it was because of the injury that Earvin suffered during his Taekwondo sparring mismatch.
It was a simple way to celebrate this special occasion, but what’s important is, we all had fun.

Happy Father's Day to your husband!!!
