Young Kids Also Get Stressed

Yes, even young kids get stressed. School stress is one of the major reasons, and it can manifest itself in different ways depending on your child’s personality and temperament.  As parents, you should be sensitive to subtle cues like unhappiness, fatigue, inability to concentrate, and nervous habits like teeth grinding.  In extreme cases, a child may experience withdrawal or violent behavior.  

There are easy solutions to help young kids unwind and let go of the stress:
  1. Do stretching exercises
  2. Jump around!
  3. Play with his favorite toy
  4. Give him a nice massage
  5. Do a fun dance
  6. Sing!
  7. Play with his pet
  8. Set a play date with friends
  9. Doodle with colors
  10. Fly a kite
  11. Take a nap
  12. Do some jumping jacks
  13. Read his favorite book
  14. Get a drink of water
  15. Let him get bored once in a while
  16. Serve him his favorite meal
  17. Go finger painting
  18. Eat chocolates!
  19. Take a walk
  20. Give him a great big hug!
 These simple tips will surely help your child relax and unwind.
