The entire Philippines is busy today for the first-ever automated elections, but in my family, there’s an even more important occasion to celebrate, that is, the birthdays of my parents. Yes, they share the same birthdate, isn’t it sweet?
I just thank God that both my parents are still healthy and strong. My Papa even enjoys the weekly free movie passes given to Senior Citizens in our place, although Nanay doesn’t want to join him, because she doesn’t want to go out that much. Her only interests are answering crossword puzzles and playing card solitaire.
