McDonald’s Kiddie Crew Workshop

I’ve been encouraging Faye to join the McDonald’s Kiddie Crew Workshop since last year, but she didn’t want to. She was too shy to join other kids especially when she learned that she would have to greet customers. But this year, she was very eager and had no hesitation when I told her I’ll enroll her in the workshop. So, last week, we went to the nearest McDo store to enroll. I would have wanted her to start on 19 April, but since she’s scheduled to join a Kids’ Camp on 23 to 25 April, I just signed her up on the 26 to 30 April schedule. It’s a 2-hour/day workshop, with lots of activities. The culmination will be the Grand Graduation Ceremonies to be held on May 21 & 23 at the World Trade Center.

T-shirts are provided, complete with cap and ID. There will be a pre-graduation ceremony, to be held on the last day of the workshop, and they will also be given certificates of completion.

During the orientation last Friday, the kids were asked to introduce themselves. Some were too shy and didn’t speak, good thing Faye was ready and wasn’t a bit shy.

The McDo staff explained all the details of the workshop, the activities that the kids are scheduled to do and the graduation ceremonies. The kids will be doing a mechanical clock, which they can take home and display in their rooms.

Food was also provided during the orientation. We were also informed that during the workshop, the kids will also have snacks, Monday/Wednesday/Friday: Spaghetti and drinks and Tuesday/Thursday: Burger Mcdo and drinks. During the Grand Graduation Ceremonies, the food that will be provided will be One Piece Chicken and FunChum Drinks.

The T-shirt, cap and ID were also given to the kids during the orientation.

I’m sure this will be a fun experience for Faye, and I’m also excited for her.

So, if you have kids, between 6-12 years old, you might want to enroll them also to this Kiddie Crew Workshop, for a very minimal fee of Php650, inclusive of T-shirt, cap, ID, food, slingbag, certificate. Some stores are still accepting participants. The last week of the workshop will be on 10 to 14 May, so visit the nearest McDo store and inquire about it. This will surely make your kids’ summer vacation very memorable because aside from gaining lots of new friends, they will also have a different kind of experience in greeting the customers and helping out in a McDonald store.
