Bridal Shower Preparations

A friend who's getting married early next year is very busy nowadays organizing all the details for her wedding. She doesn't want to hire a wedding coordinator because she wants to be hands-on in the preparation. She just decided to get help from her family and close friends. She and her husband have decided on a wedding theme already, so from there, they knew they're off to a good start.

Now, I am planning to organize a bridal shower for her. I want to do it late this year because I know she'll be very busy as her wedding day approaches. Since this is the first time that I'm organizing a bridal shower, I'm getting tips and ideas from our other friends, as well as from magazines and the internet. And of course, what's a bridal shower without bridal shower favors? It's difficult to decide on what to give her, we want something different, not the usual items that we normally give to brides-to-be. Anyway, we still have enough time to think, but in the meantime, I've found several items which I think are not-your-usual-type of bridal shower favors.
