Canyon Woods Batangas

We had our company outing in Canyon Woods Resort in Nasugbu, Batangas, last May 1 & 2. It was a residential resort, and spending 2 days there made me wish that I could afford to buy a property there. The landscape was really breathtaking, and the view from the main clubhouse was awesome. The facilities were also good and it’s like you couldn’t ask for anything more. I’m not sure for the residents, but i’m talking here as a one-time visitor of the place. Because of the breathtaking view, it was so nice to take a walk, although I think jogging would be really a challenge because the roads were hilly.

It was a very nice place. The house above was where we stayed, it’s called Casitas. We used the ground floor bedroom on the right, it has its own kitchen with two twin beds and verandah. The place was picturesque, wouldn’t you agree?
The kids really enjoyed our stay there, and they didn’t want to go home anymore. Since the resort has both indoor and outdoor pools, they got to enjoy both, although Faye said she liked the outdoor pool more.

We even got free day-tour pass in Canyon Cove, so, when we checked-out on Saturday, we proceeded to Canyon Cove which was still a good 1 hour drive from Canyon Woods. We didn’t avail of the shuttle service anymore — which the Resort offers for those who want to go to Cove while still in Woods — because we were also planning to visit a friend in Nasugbu.

Faye, who had already decided that she wouldn’t go swimming anymore in Cove, changed her mind when she saw the pool. It was a nice, big pool, and she really couldn’t resist it.

It was a very relaxing break, I could have stayed there for a week without complaining. It was a serene place and really so quiet.
