It's just that sometimes, our stubborn selves don't want to acknowledge God's presence. Probably, so many things have been going on, a lot of things have been happening in our lives, a lot of our prayers have been unanswered already, that we begin to say to ourselves, "Why not do it on my own for now, just for a change?" We sometimes tend to do this if we become impatient in waiting for God's answers to our prayers, so we take things into our own hands. What we don't realize is that our ways are not His ways; and He will answer all our prayers in His time. Or it could also be that we know these things, that everything will happen in His time, it's just that we are just plain stubborn, or worse, we don't have enough trust in Him.
I have my own battle right now, and I think lately I'm also being stubborn. But I also have a lot of realizations for the past few days and I'm sure everything will fall into its perfect place. God is trying to tell me something and I think it's about time that I open my heart and my soul to His message.
