Paradizoo was a nice place for an educational trip. It was a huge place and at that time, it was very hot — we were hoping that it would be cold — so, it was really tiring to go around the place, but of course, the kids didn’t mind. They enjoyed petting and milking the goats, listening to the lesson on the life cycle of the butterfly, watching the bees, and of course the most exciting part for Faye was, riding the pony — it was just a 3-minute ride but she enjoyed it!
Afterwards, we went to Leisure Farms. It was also a huge place, and the kids really enjoyed running around the place, most of them not minding the tour guide who expertly narrated to us the history of each tree, the scientific name of each plant, the uses of each herb. We, parents, were saying that we were the ones who learned a lot from the trip and not our kids. But then, the kids enjoyed the interactive activities that they had, like:
Smelling and tasting mint herbs
touching the worms (at first Faye said she will touch the worms
but she backed-out when she saw them)
these were cultured worms, their food is grass, and their poops are used as organic fertilizer
