Kumon — Advanced Student Honor Roll

My little girl’s efforts in Kumon for the past year paid-off. She is a Silver Medalist in the Advanced Student Honor Roll. Those who get Silver medals are 1 year and 6 months ahead of their current Grade level in school. My son had always wanted to experience joining a competition in Taekwondo. He has been taking his lessons for, i think, total of 2 years now. Battle of the Brains – 2nd Quarter

My daughter is again included in her school’s Battle of the Brains for the second quarter. This time she will compete for 3 categories, Math, Christian Living and Spelling. I think i already got used to it because i wasn’t as nervous as the 1st quarter. Oh well, still nervous, but on a lower level (?). Faye, as always, was COOL. Spelling was first. We Have New Pets!

We have new pets, African Lovebirds! After much deliberation with Jejeizahfaye, we named them Tweety and Sylvester at first, but we changed our mind, they’re now TUTTIE and FRUITTIE. We got it from the dolphins which are having a show in the Mall of Asia. They’re still very young, so young, that we had to feed them using a syringe (without the needle, of course!).
